Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Really enjoyed my stay at Tipsy Gypsi. The hostel is super nicely designed, clean and has a really comfortable vibe without feeling over the top. The backpack storage under the beds is a great idea, spacious drawers that actually make it easy to keep your stuff organized. The breakfast is also really good, and the food in general is delicious, especially the vegetarian burger, which is definitely worth trying. The pool is a great spot to hang out during the day, and in the evening, the bar is a nice place to grab a drink and meet people. Big shoutout to Kassandra, Kevin & Noelle, all of them were super friendly, helpful and always available. And Justin, the owner, really goes the extra mile to make sure everything is taken care of. The location is great too: only about 5 minutes to Beginner Bay, Mag Rock is just around the corner for sunset, and there’s a cute café nearby. Add some very cute dogs to the mix and you’ve got a pretty solid hostel. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Popoyo!
