Positive: The apartment was very well equipped and in a good location for public transit, shopping, etc. We walked to the old city several times from the apartment, which took about an hour, as we preferred to see various neighborhoods along the way but buses and the metro were very close. Our host was very quick with all communication and even came fairly late one evening to fix an issue with lighting. He also very kindly left us some water, fruit and treats in the fridge. The beds were also very comfortable and the washing machine was easy to use and worked well. The place is beside and across from various hotels, small (pricy) markets and shops, and felt very safe and was generally very quiet.

Negative: If a view is important to you, this is not the place for you as the adjacent building to the rear is abandoned and decrepit. But that is seen all over the city in various areas. Some of the walls and furniture have some scuff marks or small stains, but otherwise they are clean and functional.
