Positive: The regular staff truly made our stay much better. The receptionists, kitchen staff, and bar staff were always kind, polite, and genuinely tried to help whenever a problem arose. They are the reason this review is not much lower. The food selection was good and varied. The mattress was comfortable for me because I like firm mattresses, although guests who prefer softer mattresses may not find it comfortable. The rooms themselves were fine, and after the room change, we were much more comfortable.

Negative: There were also several other minor issues during our stay, but the points below had the biggest impact on our experience. Before arrival, I specifically requested a two-room apartment close to the elevator because I was traveling with my elderly grandmother, who has difficulty walking. This request was acknowledged, but we were given a ground-floor room where the balcony faced a concrete wall with almost no natural sunlight. One of the air conditioners was extremely noisy and barely cooled the room. There was also a very loud constant noise coming from the hallway wall, probably from plumbing or the pool filtration system. We asked to change the room but were told there were no available rooms and to come back the next day. We had to spend the first night in that room. Fortunately, the next morning, a lovely receptionist arranged a room change within 30 minutes, and the new room was much better. Before arrival, I also asked if a late dinner would be available because of our arrival time, and I received a positive confirmation. However, when we arrived, the staff said they knew nothing about it and simply told us to have the soup that is normally served after 9 p.m. Another disappointing experience was related to my cow’s milk allergy. Before booking, I informed the hotel and was told that lactose-free milk would be available for me. On the first morning, nobody knew anything about it. Thanks to the kitchen staff, they found some soy milk for me and asked me to remind the reception about my allergy, which I did that same day. The reception also had no information about it. After that, I had to ask for soy milk every single morning until the second-to-last day, when the hotel director overheard my request and started explaining that if he didn’t know about my allergy, then there was no soy milk for me. Thankfully, the kitchen and bar staff stepped in, explained the situation, and made sure I received it.
