Summary: I would have rated this hotel higher if cleanliness standards had been better and more consistent. The bed was very clean and so was the shower, however the bin in the bathroom as dirty and lid left off when I picked it up to place on top it was filthy. Kitchen area - the sink had to be cleaned and there was foods remains around cooking area when I wiped a lot of tomato and oil on my cloth and I hadn’t cooked anything. The microwave was horrendous and had not been touched and was full of boiled over food and remains. Very little in terms of utensils. Floors however clean and swept. Reception unhelpful on evening of arrival however the young man on the desk in the morning was more than helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was basic but ok and there was the expected choice. A little more attention to cleanliness would have seen a higher rating and possibly an April re booking.
