It should be noted for mobility-impaired folk that there are 2 flights of stairs to reach the apartment.

A nearby scarlet macaw reintroduction project funded by the Gaia Hotel means that these giant, exotic and colorful birds are ever-present. It’s also common to see monkeys, toucans, iguanas, sloths and other animals directly from your balcony. If that’s not enough, the villa is also a 45-minute hike to Manuel Antonio’s only real waterfall, and 30 minutes from the area’s more secluded, rocky beaches.
