Positive: The room was on the 23 floor (really 28th counting rooms below reception level) so it provided a great view of the marina. It looked like a new building/new apartment -- very modern, tastefully decorated. Two private bedrooms, two bathrooms, and fantastic little porch for viewing all the activity in the marina and JBR area. Located at the base of the palm of Palm Jumeirah so great views!

Negative: The check in process was a little rough. The person we checked in with was late so we had to deal with security and they weren't friendly. Once the person who was to help us check in showed up, she was very kind, but obviously hurried, so the review of the apartment was quick. We weren't provided the access card for the room/garage and that took about an hour-and-half to figure out the people before us had taken it home with them. We didn't receive it until the next day. We also had a fire alarm on our floor that was insanely loud and long---so we took the staircase all the way down to the first floor (30 floors) only to be told it was a false alarm (a little rudely also). Overall I would say the room is nice, but sparse, and the service just isn't there. I think it's an apartment building more than a place for people to stay for short stays. There are also NO RESTAURANTS close by (other than a Starbucks). You can walk (20-30 minutes) to the Marina or drive (UGG! horrible traffic in the evening taking almost an hour). We ended up ordering in delivery (Careem) for meals because that was just easiest when we didn't want to go out fancy. For similar type lodging but better service and restaurants, try the Avanni.
