Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This property had three seperate bedrooms (one room is the lounge with a bed in it) which was perfect for our family group. The main attractions (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilca Cistern, Grand Bazar) are a 15 minute walk up the hill. There is a small supermarket around the corner. The accommodation is not 5* but good value for the price and we really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. There was a bit of a sales pitch for dinner at one of our hosts friend’s restaurant when we arrived which we took up but probably would have gone somewhere else according to our on inclination if left to our own devices.

Negative: The shower head was not conveniently fixed to the wall. This could be fixed easily.

Summary: Great location. Plenty of space. Good value. Enjoyed our stay.
